Kimberly DeRosa is running to represent the people of New York Assembly's 135th district to bring common sense to Albany and stop the dangerous & out of control policies that are impacting everyday life in the suburbs of Rochester.

While she always paid close attention to policies impacting her family, Kimberly never imagined she’d be involved in politics. It was only in the aftermath of the pandemic that she could no longer stand by while the iron fist of New York's one-party-rule crushed our community. Concerned about her son's education, she pulled him out of public school to homeschool. She got more involved in her community and now serves on the executive committee for the Monroe County Federated Republican Women.

With a professional background in management & HR, the most rewarding, challenging & undoubtedly her most important job has been her role as Mom to her 2 sons. As her youngest son is about to graduate next year, she has come to realize the best way to serve her family is to also serve as a representative for her community with a focus on:

  • Preserving Parents' Rights to make medical & education decisions to best care for their children.

  • Protecting Women & Girls and promoting Fairness & Safety in Sports.

  • Advocating for Better Resources & Policies to Improve Mental Healthcare and

  • Common Sense laws to support Law Enforcement in keeping our communities safe.

She believes that New York State should be a Sanctuary for New Yorkers; a place where they love to raise their families and grow their businesses.
